Indoor Football Scouting Bureau
THE FACTS:
Every year the NFL brings in and releases about 30 Free Agent players per team from training camp. That is about 900 players. Of those 900 about 200 will be signed to the practice squad leaving about 700 players looking for football employment.About 53 players per team will be signed by the 6 NFL Europe teams (320players) leaving about 380 players still available. The AFL & CFL will be home to some, but with American player roster limits of 18 in the CFL for each of their 9 teams and with the AFL only carrying a 24 man roster(20 active) for each of it's 18 teams there will be alot of players searching for football opptys elsewhere if they still want to play this great game.
On average each of the teams from those two leagues will sign about 5 players or about 200 from that 380 player list ,leaving about 200 players as the realistic number of NFL camp cut players available to teams in other leagues not to mention the hundreds of players who were listed on NFL Draft boards ( every year about 1,800 college players are graded by the NFL & various scouting services) but went unsigned. Some players will realize the importance of playing somewhere to stay in game playing shape and to develop their skills to play on both sides of the ball to make themselves more appealing to the AFL game, however most will decide to stay at home and train for next year or wait for a call from the NFL which rarely happens without a player staying active because there is a whole nother NFL Draft class coming out the next year. How could it possibly be any easier to make it the next year without a player staying active? Thats where The Indoor Football Scouting Bureau's services comes in.We understand how important staying in game shape is and that one of the main reasons a player probably got released was because he needed to refine some aspect of his outdoor game or needed to develop another position for indoor. He cannot do this by staying home. We know how to relay this message to the players. We will work with Arena/Indoor teams in gaining exposure for these players. IFSB has created a database that is compiled of thousands of the top available Free Agents in the country. It has information on prospects at all division levels (D1, D1-AA, D-2, D3, NAIA) from the past five years.
We know there is about a 2-3 year window of oppty once a player completes his college eligibility to get on to an NFL, CFL or AFL team, however the player's chances of making it to the next level diminish each year he is away from football and that is why we realize how important it is for players who want to pursue their dream of playing in the NFL one day to continue to stay in game playing shape. We have the resources & contacts and will do the time consuming work that most indoor coaches and GM's might not have the time for.Our experience has led us to believe that many indoor teams can only focus on putting together teams comprised mainly of players who attend their "open tryouts" because they either dont have the time to find and locate the large number of players who were in NFL,CFL or AFL camps to explain to them the benefits of continuing to play or dont realize that a large number of these players available do not particpate in these "open tryouts".We know it is important for all indoor teams to put forth their best efforts for their fans to put the best product on the field as possible and without the services of Indoor Football Scouting Bureau we feel that most teams will fall short in that regard.

Something For Owners to Consider: If a team is able to increase their attendance by just 200 fans per game, at an average of ten dollars per ticket, which could increase their profits by two thousand dollars profit per game. Two thousand dollars per game x 7-8 home games = fourteen thousand- sixteen thousand dollars increase for the season. At the end of the day the fans want to see a quality product on the field. Indoor Football Scouting Bureau can guarantee that we can assist you by providing quality players & coaches to service your needs. With over 80 indoor teams set to play in the 2006 season, amongst the 7 secondary indoor leagues (Arena Football League 2, National Indoor Football League, United Indoor Football League, American Indoor Football League, Intense Football League, American Professional Football League, and the Great Lakes Indoor Football League), the premium on players will be at an all timehigh. Many coaches have time restraints and are unable to scout the entire country year round and therefore have to rely on local players to fill a roster. There are only so many big impact quality players to go around in each team’s local area, and often, coaches do not have the contact information to get in touch with specific players. That’s where IFSB comes in; we are there to work in conjunction with the coaches and to assist them by filling in missing pieces throughout the course of the season. With most professional indoor team’s operational budget ranging from two hundred thousand to five hundred thousand dollars per season one could see how investing in a professional staffing agency would be well worth the expense to protect their investment, and to make sure the team is presenting its’ fans a quality product on the field.
